' The subject of this painting covers a niche sense of nostalgia of mines, that other can relate too as well. How technology, video games has shaped my adolescence, creativity and what I have learned over the years beyond into the beginning of discovering my identity. Of course, nostalgia has many ways to interpret it, it does evoke a sadness to yearn going back what was considered good times. Although subject wise, for the right side of this beach it represents how I experience and viewed into what I now consider as nostalgia was playing Minecraft for periods of time in my personal laptop, the many tabs scattered around my screening reflecting, what it was like going through it. The purple blue sky starts shifting to vibrant pinks, oranges to eventually the bright yellows that shows the healing side of this journey letting go of the affects of what nostalgia does to you, on the right side you see a journal and the calming beach and the bright sun rising letting you know that it will be okay.
